Dr. Chanelle Scott-Crossley was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. She attended Parktown High School for Girls before studying Chiropractic at the University of Johannesburg, one of the highest accredited courses recognised by the European Council of Chiropractic Education.
After graduating in 2015, Dr. Chanelle Scott-Crossley joined Peak Performance Chiropractic & Sports Injury Clinic. Her extensive involvement in student activities above and beyond her academic knowledge, has shaped her belief that her purpose as a primary contact practitioner is to empower her patients with a natural, drug-free approach to their recovery and well being. This goes hand-in-hand with educating her patients and enhancing their quality of life through chiropractic and care of the human frame.
As an extremely active individual, Dr. Chanelle Scott-Crossley has a particular passion for working with sports people, both in their recovery from injury and in reaching their optimal performance. Spinal care and preventative treatment are vital in today’s environment where back pain has become one of the leading causes of disability. From headaches to sports injuries and everything in between, Dr. Scott-Crossley focuses on addressing the cause and not merely the symptoms. Helping her patients achieve a healthy, pain-free lifestyle is the most rewarding aspect of her work.
